This photo from the US Geological Survey was taken from a site that has photographs of most of America and some places in other countries. The arrow marks where we live. It appears that this photo was taken from an aeroplane, not a satellite. Denver residents may be interested to see this picture of downtown (95k).

For something really impressive, have a look at Space Imaging's web site and look at samples from their IKONOS satellite that has a 1m resolution.
